This SuSo™ serves as an ecological raw material for the industrial production of biofertilizers. We are supporting the establishment of the Canadian technology leader Genoptic in the “Net Zero Valley” Cottbus.

The total investment for the new building amounts to 80 million euros and will create up to 150 highly qualified jobs.

A Genoptic Vertical Farming facility is being built directly next to the planned Excellence Center in the second construction phase. This will increase profitability in vertical farming using validated Genoptic Nano-Lighting.

The future of plant lighting is here and has been tested in practical applications by the University of Guelph for two years. The results of Genoptic Nano grow lighting are clear: In vertical farming, yields are increased by up to 40% while costs are reduced by up to 30%. With an energy efficiency of up to 91%, this technology sets new standards.

02 Scientifically validated results: Concrete growth increase

The dynamic light recipe in detail: Its superiority is particularly evident in plant growth. Just two examples show that tomato plants produce 23.2% more total biomass, while cucumber yields increase by an impressive 36.6%. This is not a theoretical value, but the result of two years of independent validation – this technology is market-ready and proven.
